You know how the saying goes: even with a cheap knife you can play a great match. Although most CS2 knife skins sit above the hundred-euro mark, cheaper alternatives can be found. They may not appeal to everyone, but they have an undeniable charm. If you are not looking for a Factory New M9 Bayonnet Blue Gem with StatTrak, you will certainly find something here. All prices are taken from the official community market, which can be found on the Steam platform. It is possible that you will find even cheaper versions on secondary marketplaces, or that this list will change in the future (as can be seen in other articles on the cheapest knives — none of them mentions the same knife).
The Navaja is the cheapest type of knife you can get. It has been in the game since 2018 and, compared to other melee weapons, it never became very popular. If you are looking for a knife that costs around €70, definitely go for the Boreal Forest or Safari Mesh pattern – the other patterns are somewhat more expensive, but you will still fit under the hundred-euro mark. Keep in mind, however, that the float we are talking about here is Well-Worn, or even Battle-Scarred.
Shadow Daggers Safari Mesh
The Shadow Daggers are a unique knife skin because your character holds one in each hand. Who wouldn't want two weapons for the price of one? Plenty of people, as we can see from the sharply declining popularity of this skin. Low popularity equals a low price, and if we add one of the ugliest patterns in the game, Safari Mesh, and the Battle-Scarred quality, we end up somewhere around €77.
Gut Knife Forest DDPAT
Turn your regular knife into a Gut Knife and fillet your enemies like fish! That was probably the original idea, but this skin is not very popular. Its model may be unnecessarily wide. Of course, it depends on the pattern and quality, but you can buy most Gut Knives fairly cheaply. The cheapest version is the Forest DDPAT in Battle-Scarred quality for €88.
Paracord Knife Safari Mesh
In Counter Strike 2, the counter-terrorists are in the position of paratroopers on most maps, so this knife skin is especially suited to that side. The Paracord Knife looks rather handsome on its own. That is not the case, however, if you get it in poor quality with one of the cheap patterns – which is also what accounts for its low price. You can get the cheapest Paracord Knife for as little as €89, Well-Worn and with the Safari Mesh pattern.
Gut Knife Bright Water
Why mention the same style of knife twice? Because this version is as close to our hundred-euro mark as it can be. The most expensive of the cheapest skins, the Gut Knife with the Bright Water pattern in Battle-Scarred quality, can be bought for at least €99. Unlike Safari Mesh or one of the DDPAT patterns, Bright Water is strangely attractive. Not pretty, no, but there is something magically blue about it.
